Job summary

L & H POULTRY vic is seeking a Storeman to join our Geelong facility on a full-time basis. The role focuses on receiving, organising, storing and dispatching goods to maintain accurate stock records and smooth warehouse operations.

You will work within our warehouse team, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining safety standards and contributing to an efficient inventory flow. North Geelong location, VIC 3215.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Storeman, Warehouse Assistant or similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks and other mechanical handling equipment (relevant certifications are advantageous).
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against delivery documentation
• Organise and store products in designated areas, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space and accessibility
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock management systems
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised in compliance with health and safety standards
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Report any damaged or defective stock to management
• Support loading and unloading of vehicles as required

About the role

We are seeking a Storeman to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in North Geelong VIC 3215. This is a key position within our warehouse and storage operations, where you will be responsible for the receipt, organisation, storage and dispatch of goods. The Storeman plays a vital role in ensuring our inventory is properly managed, easily accessible and maintained to the highest standards. You will be instrumental in supporting the smooth flow of products through our operation and maintaining accurate stock records.

Key responsibilities
