Job summary

Chemist Warehouse in Australia is seeking a Store Setup & Merchandising Assistant to support new store openings, relays and expansions, and relocations with precision.

You will implement planograms at new store setups and relays, apply approved merchandising standards, prepare materials, and assist with development of new merchandising strategies while working with store staff and reporting to the Store Setup & Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising and/or retail experience preferred.
• Experience with planograms highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Current driver’s license required.

Job description

Support setup of new stores by opening date
Assist with relays and expansions of existing stores

Implement Chemist Warehouse-approved merchandising at new store setups and relays
Prepare merchandising materials for new store setups and relays
Assist with development and testing of new merchandising strategies for Chemist Warehouse
Assist store staff with planogramming and merchandising according to My Chemist Retail Group guidelines
Report directly to the Store Setup & Support Manager
Ensure project activities are completed efficiently, accurately, on schedule, and in line with operational standards

Requirements

• Previous merchandising and/or retail experience preferred
• Experience with planograms highly regarded
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Current driver's licence required
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Flexible and adaptable, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel interstate and work flexible hours when required
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow
