Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking experienced Storepersons for Bowen Basin mine sites on a 7/7 DIDO roster. Competitive hourly rates between $54 and $62 per hour apply, with ongoing long-term opportunities.

Join safety‑focused teams delivering efficient warehouse operations, with delivery of materials, parts and equipment across site stores and warehousing. Applicants should hold a valid driver’s licence and forklift licence, and have mining experience.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers licence and forklift licence.
• Experience in stores, warehousing, logistics or materials management.
• Experience in mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Safety-focused with a strong commitment to site procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Confident using computers and inventory management systems.
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage and distribution of materials across the site warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the site’s inventory system.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed in all warehousing activities.

The Role

As a Storeperson, you will play an important role in ensuring materials, parts and equipment are safely and efficiently managed across the site warehouse and stores operations.

About You

• Valid drivers licence and forklift licence
• Experienced instores, warehousing, logistics or materials management
• Experienced within amining or heavy industrial environment
• Safety-focused with a strong commitment to site procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Confident using computers and inventory management systems
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of your responsibilities
