Job summary

PROTECH is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator / Storeperson to join our team at Newlands Open Cut Mine in Queensland, Australia. This long-term position offers a competitive hourly rate and a 9-day fortnight with 12-hour shifts. Benefits include camp accommodation and meals provided, along with access to the Employee Assistance Program.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations, familiarity with SAP, and the right to work in Australia. A forklift licence and a current driver’s licence are highly regarded.

About the Role

Reporting to the site warehouse team, your duties will include:

• Purchasing and expediting goods
• Conducting accurate stocktake counts
• Unloading inbound delivery trucks
• Receipting, sorting and stacking incoming goods

• Identifying and eliminating waste
• Maintaining warehouse standards, systems and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operator or Storeperson
• Experience using SAP (essential)
• Forklift licence (highly regarded)
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
