Job summary

Chanel is seeking a Store Person to join our Distribution Center in Horsley Park, NSW. This full-time role focuses on receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock to Chanel's stores, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.

You will operate material handling equipment, maintain stock accuracy, and support warehouse automation systems while meeting health and safety standards. Experience in large warehouse environments and proficiency with Excel are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Forklift license with 2+ years’ high-reach experience.
• RF picking and packing experience.
• Experience operating, monitoring and troubleshooting automated warehouse systems.
• At least 2 years in a similar role in a large warehouse environment.
• Understanding of the supply chain and inventory function.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong admin skills including Excel proficiency.
• Experience using inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load shipping containers and local delivery trucks using material handling equipment.
• Sort and receive cartons, check against receiving documentation.
• Quality check inbound items to ensure they are sellable.
• Regulatory re-work, including updating product documentation as needed.
• Place products onto shelving and bulk storage locations using MHE.
• Replenish stock from bulk to pick-face locations.
• Manage inventory system activities, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
• Investigate variances, validate counts and escalate discrepancies.
• Monitor automated warehouse and inventory systems to support accuracy and productivity.
• Identify and troubleshoot automation or inventory system issues; coordinate escalation.
• Pick orders using MHE from pick-face and bulk locations.
• Prepare orders for dispatch (packing, sealing, palletising).
• Load outbound orders onto trucks or containers using MHE.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

This role is designed to be responsible for receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock to our point of sale locations, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

YOU ARE ENERGIZED BY

Supporting the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse automation system in compliance with Workplace Health & Safety, quality and operational standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Unloading and loading shipping containers and local delivery trucks utilizing material handling equipment
• Sorting and receiving cartons, checking against receiving documentation
• Quality checking of inbound items to ensure they are of sufficient quality to sell
• Regulatory re-work, including removing product documentation and replacing it with new documentation
• Placing products onto shelving and bulk storage locations utilising material handling equipment
• Replenishing stock from bulk storage locations to pick-face locations utilising material handling equipment
• Independently manage inventory system activities, including cycle counts, stock adjustments and inventory accuracy checks
• Perform stock reconciliations by investigating variances, validating counts and escalating discrepancies as required
• Use and monitor automated warehouse and inventory systems to support stock accuracy, order fulfilment and distribution centre productivity
• Identify and troubleshoot automation or inventory system issues, coordinating escalation and recovery activities to minimise disruption
• Picking orders utilising MHE from both pick-face and bulk locations
• Preparing orders to be dispatched including, picking, packing, sealing and the consolidation of orders on to pallets
• Loading outbound orders onto trucks or containers utilising material handling equipment

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Forklift license, including at least 2 years’ high-reach experience
• RF Picking experience and Packing experience
• Experience operating, monitoring and troubleshooting automated warehouse systems
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a large warehouse environment.
• Understanding of the supply chain and inventory function
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong administrative experience including Excel proficiency
• Experience using WMS or inventory management systems
