Job summary

Early Settler is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Person to energize daily operations, from the shop floor to the back dock. You’ll assist customers, help with order collections, and support stock movement in a fast-paced store and warehouse environment.

Bring prior warehousing support experience, strong communication, and a can-do attitude. You will regularly lift and move products, work as part of a collaborative team, and contribute to a safe, tidy store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar warehousing/distribution role.
• Good computer skills (email, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Passion to help people and deliver results.
• Physical capability to handle products.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, committed and proactive with a can-do attitude.
• Regular manual handling of products including lifting and moving.

Responsibilities

• Loading weekly trucks and containers with precision.
• Assisting customers with order collections for a seamless experience.
• Supporting stock movement for the shop floor and warehouse.
• Accurate goods receipting into the operating system.
• Assembly or preparation of furniture with care.
• Upholding all OH&S requirements in store and warehouse.
• Maintaining a tidy, safe and organized environment.
• Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced setting.

We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Personto become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care
• Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor
• Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system
• Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail
• Responsible for contributing to and upholding allOH&S requirements
• Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse
• To collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment.

Skills And Experiences

Who are we Looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution.

• As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
