Early Settler is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Person to support daily store operations and assist customers with their orders. You will help on the shop floor and in the back dock, moving stock, assembling furniture, and ensuring a safe, organized environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude, with opportunities to grow within a vibrant retail team. Applicants must be capable of physical tasks and committed to providing exceptional service.

Formación

• Previous experience in a similar warehousing or retail support role.
• Ability to assist with order collections and stock movement.
• Comfort with manual handling of furniture and products.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.

Responsabilidades

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care.
• Assisting customers with order collections to ensure a seamless experience.
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor.
• Accurately receipting goods into the store's operating system.

• Upholding OH&S requirements and maintaining a tidy store/warehouse.

Are you a hands-on go-getter who loves being on the move and thrives in a team environment? This is your chance to play a vital role that keeps our store humming – from the shop floor to the back dock!

We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you’ll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care
• Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor
• Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system
• Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail
• Responsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements
• Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse
• To collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment.

Skills And Experiences

• Previous experience in a similar role supporting warehousing and distribution.
• Good Computer skills (email, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook)
• A passion to help people and a desire to get results
• The physical capability to handle our products
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, committed, proactive and driven with a can-do attitude
• As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
