Job summary

Emeco International is seeking a Storeperson to join our Perth-based team for a FIFO 8:6 day roster to support our Goldfields operation, located about 300km northeast of Kalgoorlie. The role involves updating inventory systems, stock takes, and coordinating with maintenance, operations and procurement.

Ideal candidates will have FIFO mining store experience, a forklift licence and Working at Heights, a current C Class manual licence, and a Police clearance within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Previous FIFO experience in a Store Person role within mining.
• Must have forklift licence and working at heights.
• C Class manual driver's licence (HR advantageous).
• National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
• Full working rights within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Update Workplace Inventory Management Systems.
• Conduct regular stock takes.
• Maintain inventory items in good condition and environment.
• Keep stores area clean and well-organised.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and procurement teams.

Job description

We’re seeking a motivated Storeperson to join the Emeco team on a FIFO 8:6 day-shift-only roster from Perth, supporting our Goldfields operation located approximately 300km northeast of Kalgoorlie.

What we’ll need from you:

• Previous experience working FIFO in a Store Person role within the mining sector
• Current Forklift Licence and Working at Heights
• Current "C Class" Manual Driver's License(HR licence would be advantageous)
• National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Must have their Full Working Rights within Australia

What your day to day would look like:

• Updating Workplace Inventory Management Systems
• Conducting stock takes on a regular basis.
• Ensuring the company’s inventory items are maintained in appropriate condition and environment
• Maintain stores area to a high standard of cleanliness
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams for seamless coordination.
• Freight dispatch including logistics and distribution of parts.
