Job summary

Emeco Underground is seeking a motivated Storeperson to join our team on a FIFO 8:6 day-shift roster from Perth, supporting our Goldfields operation located about 300km northeast of Kalgoorlie.

This permanent full-time role requires FIFO experience, forklift licence, and strong administrative skills; you will receive on-site accommodation, meals, and a competitive hourly rate with fortnightly pay and super.

Qualifications

• FIFO mining experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Current Forklift Licence and Working at Heights.
• C Class Manual Driver’s Licence; HR licence advantageous.
• National Police Clearance within 6 months.
• Pre-employment medical incl. drug and alcohol screen.
• Full Working Rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Receiving deliveries.
• Updating Workplace Inventory Management Systems.
• Conducting stock takes regularly.
• Maintaining inventory in good condition.
• Keeping stores area clean and organized.
• Coordinating with maintenance, operations and procurement.
• Overseeing freight dispatch and logistics for parts.

We’re seeking a motivated Storeperson to join the Emeco team on a FIFO 8:6 day-shift-only roster from Perth, supporting our Goldfields operation located approximately 300km northeast of Kalgoorlie.

What We’ll Need From You

• Previous experience working FIFO in a Store Person role within the mining sector
• Proficient using Microsoft Office
• Current Forklift Licence and Working at Heights
• Current "C Class" Manual Driver's License (HR licence would be advantageous)
• National Police Clearance within 6 months of issue date
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
• Must have their Full Working Rights within Australia

What Your Day To Day Would Look Like

• Receiving deliveries
• Updating Workplace Inventory Management Systems
• Conducting stock takes on a regular basis.
• Ensuring the company’s inventory items are maintained in appropriate condition and environment
• Maintain stores area to a high standard of cleanliness
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and procurement teams for seamless coordination.
• Freight dispatch including logistics and distribution of parts.
