Job summary

Oscar Wylee is seeking an experienced Store Manager for Morley Galleria to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional customer care while achieving store KPIs.

You will coach, roster, manage operations and budgets, and partner with optometrists to ensure outstanding patient experiences. No optical background is required; training is provided to learn optical retail.

Store Manager – Oscar Wylee Galleria

At Oscar Wylee Galleria, we're looking for an experienced retail leader to join us as Store Manager and lead a high‑performing team.

You'll take ownership of the day‑to‑day performance of the store, coach and develop your people and create an environment where exceptional customer care and strong commercial results go hand in hand.

You don't need to come from optical retail. If you're an experienced retail leader who knows how to motivate a team, drive results and create a great customer experience, we'll teach you the optical side.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach and develop your team to perform at their best
• Drive sales, KPIs and commercial performance through genuine customer care
• Take ownership of day‑to‑day store operations, compliance and performance standards
• Manage rosters, budgets and labour efficiency
• Provide hands‑on leadership across sales, service and the customer experience
• Partner with our Optometrists to ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience
• Build a positive, accountable and high‑performing team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous retail leadership experience – your title isn't important; if you've coached people and driven results, we'd like to hear from you
• Understands how to drive sales, KPIs and store performance
• Has experience contributing to rostering, labour planning or day‑to‑day store operations
• Is passionate about coaching and developing people
• Leads from the floor and enjoys being part of the customer experience
• Is organised, proactive and confident making decisions
• Wants to continue developing their commercial and leadership capability
• Has previous optical or eyewear retail experience – advantageous, but not essential

No optical experience? That's okay. We'll provide the training and support you need to learn optical retail, and some of our successful store leaders have joined us from outside the industry.

Earnings

Base salary up to $70,000 + superannuation.

Our store is located within Galleria Shopping Centre in Morley, with Morley Bus Station nearby and free onsite parking available for a convenient commute.
