Swanbourne Market IGA in Perth's western suburbs seeks a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead a busy team and own all store operations. You will supervise full-time, part-time and casual staff, drive sales and margin, and manage stock and merchandising to award-winning standards.

With support from owners, you will implement promotional programs, manage supplier relationships, and ensure food safety, WHS, and compliance across the store.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years management experience in supermarket or fresh food retail environment.
• Proven financial management across sales, GP, wages and cost control.
• Strong stock control, ordering and merchandising skills.
• Experience with direct suppliers and purchase orders.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach and develop department leads and a team of full-time, part-time and casual staff.
• Manage rostering, recruitment, training and performance to a wages budget.
• Own store KPIs: sales, GP margin, wages, shrinkage and operating costs.
• Oversee ordering, stock control, receiving and stocktakes.
• Keep fresh and grocery presentation and merchandising to award-winning standards.
• Deliver IGA promotional programs and local marketing in store.
• Build relationships with local producers and direct suppliers, and find the next great products.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, weights and measures, and IGA standards.
