Job summary

Ice Box Liquor in Moruya, NSW, is seeking an experienced Bottle Shop Manager to lead our store. We are a family-owned, independent liquor chain with 30 stores across NSW, focused on exceptional service, sales growth, and staff development.

You will manage a team, handle rostering and budgeting, oversee stock ordering, cash handling, merchandising and safety, and build strong relationships with our locals while keeping up with wine, spirits and craft beer trends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment with stock management, ordering, invoicing, deliveries and reporting store performance.
• Ability to lead a team and manage rostering, performance and budgeting.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits and craft beer trends.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Bottle Shop Manager to lead our store in Moruya.

The role as Store Manager presents an opportunity to work with a family owned and run company that prides itself on its people.

Reporting to to the Area Manager, the successful applicant will have experience in a similar position. With the ability to lead a team, provide fantastic customer service, drive sales and profitability.

With a well established retail team and support network throughout the group, we at Ice Box Liquor pride ourselves on flexible work arrangements and supporting our staff with growth opportunities.

As part of our management team, you will:

• Have previous experience in a retail environment including stock management, ordering, invoicing, deliveries, reporting on store performance, etc.
• Ensure stock is ordered and managed in accordance with company guidelines
• Manage a team of loyal and capable staff, including rostering, performance management and budgeting
• Learn and maintain knowledge of wine, spirits and craft beer, as well as stay up to date with trends
• Cash management
• Safety management for both team members and customers
• Develop rapport and ongoing customer relationships with our locals
• Maintain eye-catching merchandising
