Job summary

Hamilton Island Enterprises seeks an IGA Store Manager on Hamilton Island to lead daily supermarket operations and drive guest and resident satisfaction in a paradise setting.

You will manage budgeting, stock control, merchandising and team development, while ensuring food safety and high standards are maintained on site.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Grocery Store Manager or similar role in a high-volume supermarket.
• A valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety legislation and standards.
• Demonstrated success in leading, developing and motivating a team.
• Strong commercial skills across budgets, P&L, inventory and stock control.
• Experience managing rosters, recruitment, training and performance.

To be successful, you’ll need:

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Grocery Store Manager or in a similar role within a high-volume supermarket

Experience in any of the following is highly regarded:

• Previous experience within an IGA supermarket
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a Diploma in Business
• Merchandising and product ranging expertise
