Birkenstock Armadale is seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead our footwear and apparel retail team. You will drive daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our brand standards at the Armadale store.

You should have at least 3 years in a senior retail role, be a decisive leader with strong communication, and manage stock, POS, and staff development. This full-time position requires five days a week with no late nights.

Job description

We are seeking a passionate, inspiring and dedicated Store Manager for our Armadale Store. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail Store Manager to lead our retail team at one of our current or future locations. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing a footwear/apparel retail store, be a quick and decisive thinker, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. This role requires availability of 5 days a week, with no late nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example, from the front to ensure excellent customer service and communication skills across your team.
• Work collaboratively within the management team to ensure consistency of service across our retail stores.
• Confidently and effectively lead a dynamic team to deliver outstanding sales service.
• Maintain an immaculate store condition in accordance with store maintenance guidelines.
• Manage point of sale processes.
• Receive and organise deliveries of new stock.
• Actively contribute to the maintenance of company values, and brand identity.
• Implement and maintain a safe and hazard-free environment for all staff and customers within the store.
• Work collaboratively with the Retail Operations Manager to develop and enhance training procedures and ensure smooth operation of the store.
• With assistance from the Retail Operations Manager and Human Resources, take an active role in performance management of staff.
• Facilitate staff learning, training and development.
• Attend product, sales, and merchandise training.
• Effectively manage customer complaints to reach the best outcome for all parties.
• Foster a positive work environment by re-enforcing mutual respect amongst colleagues and customers.
• Other duties as directed by Birkenstock that are within the limits of your skills, competence and training.

• Proven leadership experience in a retail sales position (3+ years)
