New Balance Australia Pty Ltd in Chadstone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager, coach the team, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

This role requires a passion for retail, strong customer service, consultative selling, product knowledge, and a professional presentation. You will help drive sales, merchandising, stock processes, and uphold brand standards.

• Previous experience in a customer-focused retail environment (highly regarded).
• Confidence in consultative selling and sharing detailed product knowledge.
• A polished and professional presentation with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional, personalised customer service to every customer, fostering authentic and meaningful connections.
• Supporting the Store Manager in driving daily store operations and achieving sales targets.
• Driving sales through consultative selling, understanding each customer’s needs and matching them with the right product.
• Provide support and guidance to Sales Associates to ensure they contribute to the success of the store.
• Confidently sharing product knowledge across performance footwear and lifestyle apparel.
• Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store reflects the quality and heritage of the brand.
• Supporting stock operations including delivery processing, replenishment, and stockroom organisation.
• Support the store to operate efficiently, in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Desire to challenge yourself to achieve individual and company objectives.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail sales leader to join our Chadstone store as an Assistant Store Manager!

As part of the New Balance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in leading and coaching the team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience. Your responsibilities include:
