Job summary

DISSH Byron Bay is opening a new store and you’ll lead the vision, culture, and performance of the team, delivering exceptional customer experiences while bringing the DISSH brand to life every day. This is a ground‑up leadership role.

We’re seeking a people‑first leader with commercial acumen, a passion for styling, service and development. You’ll own operations, coaching, stock, VM, KPIs, and collaborate with Area Managers and HQ to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Store Manager (Australian premium fashion/retail)
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service and experiential retail
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and business management skills
• Dynamic hands-on leader who motivates and coaches a team to succeed
• Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels
• Passion for the DISSH brand, vision and mission and ability to embed this within a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing retail team with a focus on accountability, energy, and impact
• Own your store’s performance: from KPIs to visual merchandising to people development
• Deliver a best in class customer experience that reflects the DISSH brand and values
• Drive team coaching, styling and sales training to build capability and confidence
• Oversee stock, inventory accuracy, VM execution and daily operations
• Collaborate with Area Managers, HQ departments and other Store Managers to share insights and wins with a mindset of continuous improvement

As Store Manager, you'll lead the vision, culture, and performance of our newest store, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional experiences while bringing the DISSH brand to life each and every day. We're looking for a people-first leader who combines commercial acumen with a genuine passion for styling, service, and team development. With the autonomy to lead your store as your own, you'll drive operational excellence, nurture a high-performing team, and create a customer experience that reflects everything DISSH stands for.

Your new day-to-day:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing retail team with a focus on accountability, energy, and impact
• Own your store’s performance: from KPIs to visual merchandising to people development
• Deliver a best in class customer experience that reflects the DISSH brand and values
• Drive team coaching, styling and sales training to build capability and confidence

On your first day we'd expect you to already have:

• 2+ years experience as a Store Manager (ideally in an Australian premium fashion, beauty or retail brand)
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service and experiential retail
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and business management skills
• A dynamic and hands on leader who loves motivating and coaching a team to succeed whilst leading by example doing the same
• Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and the ability to influence team members at all levels
• A passion for the DISSH brand, vision + mission and ability to embed this within a team
