Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Storage Engineer to secure and optimise enterprise storage and data protection services across Defence, Intelligence and Federal Government environments. You will work with NetApp and Commvault technologies to design, deploy and maintain storage infrastructure in a large-scale engineering setting.

The role requires hands-on storage experience and familiarity with ITSM practices.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience with NetApp storage technologies and Commvault data protection.
• Experience administering large-scale enterprise storage and backup environments.
• Capacity planning, utilisation and performance management incl. AIQUM.
• Experience in large enterprise or project-based engineering environments.
• Knowledge of ITSM practices, including incident and problem management, RCA and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise storage and data protection platforms, with a focus on NetApp and Commvault.
• Design, implement, administer and upgrade storage infrastructure, including firmware/software.
• Deliver backup, restore and recovery activities to support operational requirements and incident response.
• Contribute to reliable and secure storage services through capacity and performance management, ITSM processes, post‑incident reviews and root cause analysis.
