Job summary

JBS Australia Pty Limited in Dinmore, QLD, is seeking a Stock Controller to manage inventory, purchasing, and supply coordination across the site. You will ensure stock availability, accuracy, and timely supplier delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires experience in inventory/purchasing, ERP familiarity, and strong organisational and communication skills to support cost control and internal processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, purchasing, procurement, stores or supply chain administration.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Raising and processing purchase orders.
• Managing inventory levels and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Monitoring stock movements and coordinating replenishment.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Tracking orders and resolving supply issues where required.
• Conducting inventory reconciliations and cycle counts.
• Maintaining purchasing and inventory records in internal systems.
• Supporting cost control and purchasing efficiencies.
• Building strong relationships with site stakeholders and suppliers.

About the role

As the Stock Controller, you will play an important role in ensuring stock availability, procurement coordination and inventory accuracy to support operational success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Raising and processing purchase orders
• Managing inventory levels and maintaining stock accuracy
• Monitoring stock movements and coordinating replenishment

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience within manufacturing, maintenance or industrial environments will be highly regarded
