InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is seeking a Steward (Casual) to support our busy kitchen operations on a casual basis. Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will help with cleaning, sanitising and dishwashing, ensuring high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction across the kitchen.

At InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort we are looking for an experiencedSteward (Casual)to join our team on a casual basis.

Your day to day

We're looking for Stewards who are hands on and who know what it takes to support a busy kitchen operation.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will support the Food and Beverage operation of the Resort by:

• Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and the premises, whilst maintaining hygienic standards and practices.
• Cleaning and sanitising of all kitchen areas, rubbish removal, cardboard recycling, dish wash operation, manual pot washing and cleaning.
• Working independently, and as part of a cohesive team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are maintained.

This position would suit a person who is looking for an entry level role into the hospitality industry and has a drive for excelling in their chosen career. The growth opportunities for the right person are endless.

We are looking fora confident person who is motivated, has a high attention to detail and is deadline driven. You will have some experience in a kitchen environment andtake a real sense of pride in your ability to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen.You must be available to work irregular shifts acrossa rotating seven dayroster including overnights, holidays and weekends and bephysicallyfit to lift heavy items.

In addition, you must hold the appropriate work rights to work in Australia.
