InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is seeking an experienced Steward (Casual) to join our team. You will support a busy kitchen operation by cleaning and maintaining equipment and premises, while upholding high hygiene standards.

Reporting to the Chief Steward, this entry-level role requires flexibility to work irregular shifts across a seven-day roster, including overnights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must have current Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment.
• Able to work irregular shifts, including overnights and weekends.
• Willingness to lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and premises to hygienic standards.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas, rubbish removal, dish wash operation.
• Work independently and as part of a cohesive team to maintain high cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
