Lofte Australia is seeking proactive, and experienced Stevedores & Crane Drivers to join our expanding stevedoring operation in Melbourne, Victoria. You will safely load and unload cargo across bulk, general, and project cargo, on a rotating shift roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in maritime, stevedoring or port operations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and cargo handling techniques.
• Competency in using operational systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Crane driving experience. Ships crane experience is a bonus.
• A current Forklift license will also be well regarded.

Responsibilities

Desired Criteria

• Previous experience with bulk, general, and project cargo operations.
• Competency in using operational systems and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Crane driving experience. Ships crane experience is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel for operational needs as required.
• A current Forklift license will also be well regarded.
• Prior stevedoring experience is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided to successful applicants. A high level of availability is essential, as the role operates on a rotating shift work roster.
