Qualifications

• Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology (TAFE)
• Recent experience in a hospital-based sterilising department
• Strong attention to detail; ability to perform repetitive and complex tasks
• Sound computer skills and experience with CSSD tracking systems
• Ability to work under general supervision and meet deadlines
• Strong understanding of infection control standards and manufacturer instructions
• Willingness to participate in a seven-day rotating roster
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety and continuous improvement

About the role

Join our Central Sterile Services Department as a Sterilisation Technician Grade 2, playing an essential role in ensuring reusable medical equipment and instruments are safely decontaminated, inspected, packaged and sterilised.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help maintain high standards of infection control, traceability and quality while responding to the changing demands of a busy hospital environment.

About you

Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology (TAFE)

Recent experience in a hospital-based sterilising department

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive and complex tasks
