Job summary

Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre in Canberra is seeking a Learning Experiences Presenter (APS4) to deliver a range of science engagement experiences for diverse audiences. You will conduct hands-on activities, theatrical demonstrations, and structured workshops across programs such as Q Lab, The Shed, and Live Spectacular Science Shows.

You will work with the Learning Experiences team to ensure high‑quality content, inclusive participation, and safety compliance, while

Qualifications

Passionate about science, technology, and education with strong communication abilities.
Ability to deliver engaging activities to diverse audiences.
Enjoy helping learners explore and discuss scientific concepts.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high‑quality experiences that inspire audiences with science, technology, and innovation.
Contribute to development, testing, and evaluation of new content and activities.
Collaborate with the team, mentor peers, and model best practice in program delivery.
Foster open communication and provide constructive feedback to enhance collaboration.
Ensure safety and compliance with policies during program delivery.
Perform additional tasks to support Questacon’s programs.
