Job summary

Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre in Parkes, ACT, is seeking a Learning Experiences Presenter to deliver engaging science experiences for diverse audiences, from early learning to adults. You will develop and test new content, lead hands-on activities, and collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality program delivery.

You will join a department that values inclusion and culture, with flexible work options and opportunities to participate in Indigenous and diversity

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship required.
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration required.
• National Police Check required.
• Weekday availability for induction and training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging science experiences to diverse audiences.
• Develop, test, and evaluate new content and activities.
• Mentor peers and model best practice in program delivery.
• Foster open communication within the team and provide feedback.
• Ensure program safety by following policies and ongoing training.
• Perform additional tasks to support Questacon’s programs.
