Job summary

HTU seeks graduates for the Australian Government STEM Stream, offering placements across agencies. You will engage in rotations, work on meaningful projects, and network with senior STEM leaders, gaining exposure to diverse APS departments in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Eligibility includes Australian citizenship, a 3-year STEM degree completed recently, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship at the time of application.
• Complete a minimum three-year STEM undergraduate degree within the last five years.
• Complete or be finishing undergraduate degree or higher by 31 December 2027.
• Able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
• Willing to undergo police, character, health, or other checks.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple APS departments on real projects.
• Participate in work rotations to gain diverse experience.
• Engage in STEM-focused networking events with senior leaders.
• Support initiatives across science, technology, engineering and mathematics areas.
• Meet senior STEM leaders from APS agencies.
