Job summary

Vulcan Steel Structures, Inc. on the Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Warehouse/Production Operator to join our Australasian metals team. You will operate steel processing machinery, pick and pack orders, load and unload stock with a forklift, and perform quality checks to keep production on track.

We value safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday 14:45–23:00 and Friday 12:00–17:00, with a supportive, family-friendly culture and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence.
• Standard hours: Mon–Thu 14:45–23:00 and Fri 12:00–17:00.
• Experience or interest in steel-cutting.
• Strong safety mindset during manual handling.
• Positive, willing, energetic team player.
• Attention to detail and high workmanship standard.
• Good knowledge of workshop machinery/tools.
• Effective in production processes and quality control.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate steel processing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load, unload and move stock using a forklift.
• Conduct quality checks and follow production schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Support day-to-day warehouse and production activities as required.
