Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an experienced Handyman to join a premium commercial office building in Sydney CBD. You will be responsible for general maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and presentation to the highest standard.

The role offers a full-time permanent position, 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri) at a static Sydney CBD site with no travel between sites, in a modern, supportive facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Handyman/maintenance role.
• Trade qualification in Carpentry/Plumbing/Electrical is highly regarded.
• Strong all-round maintenance and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Minor carpentry, patching, painting, and plastering works.
• Basic plumbing and repair works.
• Replacing fixtures, fittings, locks, and hardware.
• Preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Responding to maintenance requests from tenants.
• Assisting with contractor supervision and site access.
• Ensuring the building is maintained to a high professional standard.
