Job description

A privately owned and operated company providing highly stringent security for its clients in the corporate and government sector. Due to development, we are currently recruiting several permanent static security positions within the Moss Vale area.

We are seeking experiencedand motivated Security Officers to join our team in keeping people, assets and facilities safe. Opportunities are available on a permanent full-time or permanent part-time basis. Applicants must be available to work night shifts, including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Roles and responsibilities

• Upholding company security policies and procedures
• Maintaining and monitoring of building and security systems in line with these including electronic access control, surveillance systems
• Adhering to access procedures for all staff, clients and visitors, including badges and access cards
• Performing regular foot patrols
• Reporting incidents and potential risks
• Update daily activity reports, handover and incident logs
• Participate in training and development for the role

Selection Criteria

• Holds Australian Citizenship - required for Defence security clearance eligibility
• Holds a NSW Security Licence
• Will be able to complete pre-employment checks including National Police Check, and Has a positive, customer friendly attitude
• Is flexible to work 24/7 rotating rosters (involving nights/weekends when rostered)
• Can work collaboratively in a team or independently
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Is reliable, punctual and professional
• Can build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
