Job summary

King Living is seeking a Retail Development Manager to elevate leadership beyond a single showroom. You will work with the Regional Retail Manager to drive VIC network performance, coach showrooms, and lead state-level projects that build multi-site leadership capability.

Expect involvement in campaigns, merchandising, and product launches with a focus on consistent execution and culture. Based in Melbourne, you’ll travel across the state as needed.

Qualifications

• Track record as Showroom/Store Manager with strong commercial results.
• Able to analyze performance data across the VIC network.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Ability to influence peers without direct authority.
• Strong communication across showrooms and support functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Retail Manager to lift performance across VIC.
• Support Showroom Managers with best practices and consistency of execution.
• Partner with People Team on recruitment, onboarding and succession input.
• Lead state-level projects and contribute to multi-site leadership development.
• Assist with campaigns, merchandising, and product launches ensuring alignment.
• Travel across the state as required.
