Supagas is seeking a proactive Operations Manager to lead branch operations across NSW, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will guide HSEQ initiatives, manage budgets, and improve logistics performance while coordinating with multiple branches and managers.

The role requires senior operational experience, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to drive cost-effective delivery practices across a multi-site network.

Responsibilities

• Implement effective and efficient management of branch operations across NSW.
• Travel to support State and Branch Managers when needed.
• Ensure a safe workplace and compliance with safety systems.
• Develop operational budgets by branch and monitor achievement.
• Maximise logistics and yard operations efficiency.
• Ensure delivery costs stay within budgets and optimize savings.
• Review processes with schedulers, logistics and drivers to reduce waste.
• Oversee induction and safety training for all new operational staff.
• Achieve key metrics like DIFOT, LOA and truck utilisation.
