Job summary

Be Recruitment is seeking a State Manager for its nursing, allied health recruitment business in Western Sydney. You’ll lead an established team, drive growth, and own the state P&L with no personal billing desk.

You’ll guide business development, strengthen client relationships, and ensure delivery against financial and operational goals. This leadership role offers scope to shape the business and build capability across the state.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering the state’s growth strategy across temporary and permanent recruitment.
• Leading business development, opening doors to new clients and expanding existing relationships.
• Managing the P&L, budgets, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Coaching and developing the team, building capability and supporting individual performance.
• Setting clear goals and maintaining accountability for results.
• Strengthening relationships with key clients and managing preferred supplier agreements.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations, service quality, compliance and process improvement.
• Planning team capacity and hiring to support sustainable growth.
