Job summary

Touch Football Australia is seeking a State Competitions and Events Coordinator to lead WA's key competitions and events from Perth. You will drive the WA Super League, WA Junior and Senior State Championships, and Country Championships, coordinating competitions and operations.

You will support affiliates and volunteers, manage stakeholder relationships, and contribute to marketing, communications and content creation to grow participation and engagement across Western Australia.

Touch Football Australia is seeking an energetic and highly organised State Competitions and Events Coordinator to lead the delivery of key competitions, championships and events across Western Australia. Based in Perth, this role provides a unique opportunity to make a genuine impact on the growth and success of Touch Football at both community and representative levels.

As the driving force behind the WA Super League competition and major state events, including the WA Junior and Senior State Championships and Country Championships, you will coordinate competitions, manage event operations, support affiliates and volunteers, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the sport.

Working alongside affiliates, officials, referees, NRL WA, the Perth Bears and government partners, you will help deliver exceptional experiences for participants while identifying opportunities to strengthen competitions, grow engagement and expand participation across Western Australia.

You'll also play a key role in promoting the game through marketing and communications, developing content and sharing stories that connect and inspire the Touch Football community.

Essential Requirements
  • Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated success in delivering competitions and events in sport or community settings
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work with volunteers and committees.
  • Hold or be eligible to hold Working with Children Check (WA).
Desirable Criteria
  • Sports Management / Business Degree
  • Current driver's licence and access to personal vehicle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in social media and digital platforms.
  • High-level computer literacy including MySideline or similar competition management platforms, with demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously.
