Job summary

Stanmore Resources Limited is inviting second-, third-, and fourth-year university students to join a paid 12-week vacation program at regional Queensland mine sites. Focus areas include Civil, Mining, Mechanical, Geotechnical Engineering and Procurement.

You will gain hands-on industry experience, work with seasoned professionals, and receive mentoring while living in camp facilities on site. Placements run Nov 2026 to Feb 2027, with applications closing 18 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently studying Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Procurement.
• Availability during the end-of-year university break is required.
• Must have unlimited working rights in Australia and a current Australian Driver's Licence.

Additional Information

These opportunities are based at our operational mine sites in regional Queensland. Students applying for site-based disciplines should be comfortable living in a camp environment and working within an active mining operation for the duration of the placement.
