Job summary

Western Power is seeking a Stand-alone Power Systems Technician to commission and maintain SPS units across Western Australia. You will ensure compliance with Australian Standards and design documentation while supporting service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 7–10 years of specialist technical experience in electrical systems, appropriate licences, and the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years specialist technical experience in required discipline or equivalent.
• Hold licences or competency certificates to perform the role.
• Demonstrated experience with advanced electrical systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and maintenance of Western Power SPS units.
• Validate SAT/FAT against standards and documentation.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders; manage progress and resources.
