Hey Amara is hiring an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator in Minto, Sydney NSW for a permanent, full-time role. The job involves taking tanks from drawing to finished product, fabricating and assembling tanks, vessels and mixing equipment with strong TIG and MIG welding skills.

Responsabilités

• Read engineering drawings and plan assembly.
• Measure, cut, prepare and fit stainless steel components.
• Weld using TIG and MIG to produce clean, consistent welds.
• Fabricate and assemble tanks, vessels and mixing equipment from start to finish.
• Polish and finish to ensure the product looks as good as it performs.
• Take ownership of work and maintain quality throughout the build.

We’re looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator who can take a tank from drawing to finished product without needing someone looking over their shoulder every five minutes.

You’ll be working across the full manufacturing process, including:

• Reading engineering drawings and working out how everything comes together.
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and fitting stainless steel components.
• TIG and MIG welding with the skill to produce clean, consistent welds.
• Fabricating and assembling tanks, vessels and specialised mixing equipment from start to finish.
• Polishing, finishing and making sure the final product looks as good as it performs.
• Taking ownership of your work and maintaining high standards throughout the build.

In other words, we’re after a fabricator who can do more than strike an arc and call it a day.

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need to be the loudest person in the workshop. You just need to know your stuff.

• Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication and tank manufacturing.
• Strong TIG and MIG welding skills.
• The ability to build tanks from start to finish.
• Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• A good eye for detail, weld quality, polishing and finishing.
• The ability to work independently and solve problems as they come up.
• Reliability, a solid work ethic and pride in your craftsmanship.
