Job summary

NSW Health Pathology is seeking a senior medical specialist in Infectious Diseases with microbiology fellowship to lead clinical research and education within a multidisciplinary hospital network. You will contribute to patient care, guideline development, and teaching of registrars and fellows, while collaborating with microbiology, infectious diseases and pathology teams.

Qualifications

• Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Microbiology.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Infectious Diseases, or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
• Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
• Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
