Job summary

Easygo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Full-Stack) in Melbourne to lead high-scale engineering efforts across frontend and backend teams. You will shape architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and drive performance, reliability, and security in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with executives and engineers to deliver scalable, world-class entertainment experiences, working on TypeScript/JavaScript ecosystems with Node.js, SSR frameworks, and cloud-native tech.

Qualifications

• Requires a CS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with scalable systems.
• Proficiency in multiple languages/frameworks, preferably Typescript/JavaScript/Svelte and SSR frameworks.
• Strong distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve large-scale distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and drive frontend and full-stack architecture decisions.
• Improve deployment safety, performance, and reliability across platforms.
