Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape digital customer and colleague experiences within Business Banking. You will influence architecture, engineering standards and technical direction across modern cloud, data and AI-enabled platforms.

Join our teams delivering customer-facing channels, CRM experiences, data services and AI-enabled platforms at enterprise scale. You’ll mentor engineers, drive automation, and contribute to engineering excellence across the domain.

Competenze

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex software solutions within large-scale or distributed environments.
• Strong hands-on software engineering capability and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
• Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, platforms or data-driven services.
• The ability to balance strategic technical thinking with hands-on delivery.
• Experience influencing technical direction, architecture and engineering standards.
• A track record of mentoring engineers and uplifting capability across teams.
