• PhD required in Physics, Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience designing, calibrating, packaging and validating complex prototypes.
• Experience operating in lab and field with optical, mechanical and electronic systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and collaboration with scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prototypes for field trials: design, assemble, operate, test, modify and ruggedise.
• Conduct prototype deployments and support field trial delivery.
• Troubleshoot and fix complex hardware issues in lab and field.
• Implement new sensing techniques on fieldable prototypes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with quantum scientists and engineers.
