Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Digital Electrical Design Engineer for a 9-month engagement in Redmond, WA. You will own digital/high-speed board design end-to-end, from schematic through validation, and collaborate with layout, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role involves designing complex multi-layer PCBs with processors, FPGAs, or SoCs, managing interface budgeting, and ensuring signal integrity. A Bachelor's in EE and hands-on HW design are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on digital hardware design experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed signal integrity and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Owns digital/high-speed electrical board design end-to-end from schematic through validation.
• Designs complex multi-layer PCBs with processors, FPGAs or SoCs, including interface budgeting.
• Responsible for high-speed SI, translating analyses into routing/impedance constraints.
• Leads digital board bring-up and lab debugging, including power-on and link validation.
• Collaborates across layout, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams; drives root-cause analysis.
• Interprets datasheets and reference manuals; ensures design meets specs.

Description:

Summary

• Owns digital/high-speed electrical board design end-to-end, from schematic and interface definition through SI analysis, layout collaboration, bring-up, and validation.
• Designs complex multi-layer digital PCBs involving processors, FPGAs, or SoCs, including component selection, pin planning, and interface budgeting.
• Responsible for high-speed signal integrity, translating pre/post-layout analysis into routing and impedance constraints.
• Leads digital board bring-up and lab debugging, including power-on, clocking, interface initialization, and link validation.
• Works cross-functionally with layout, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams and drives root-cause analysis through structured testing.
• Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus hands-on digital hardware design experience.
