Job summary

Atturra is seeking a highly skilled SQL Server & SSIS Database Developer for a permanent role in our Data & Integration team, delivering solutions to federal government clients on a Defence Project. The position is based in Canberra (Russell, ACT) with full-time on-site presence and NV1 clearance required.

You will develop and support SQL Server 2022, SSIS packages, and Azure DevOps pipelines, manage ETL processes, and contribute to multi-environment deployments across ALM stages.

Qualifications

• Focus on SQL Server 2022, SSIS, and T-SQL development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps repositories, build and release pipelines.
• Ability to support ETL processes and post-deployment scripts.
• Experience with database triggers, stored procedures, and data workflows.
• Familiarity with SSMS, Visual Studio Database Project, and DevOps repos.
• Experience with Airflow and PySpark is advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Canberra with NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Microsoft SQL Server 2022, T-SQL, SSIS, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and support ETL processes and deployments across environments.
• Develop and maintain triggers, stored procedures, and data-processing workflows.
• Apply schema changes to code repositories and maintain in DevOps.
• Deploy database changes across six ALM environments for applications and reporting.
• Manage data mappings and ETL changes in DevOps, SSIS, and mapping updates.
• Deploy SSIS changes to the SSIS Host and configure in the platform scheduler.
• Create and deploy post-update scripts for higher ALM environments.
• Maintain Airflow and PySpark jobs in ETL packages and manage Iceberg schemas.
