Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a hands-on Software Developer to join our Sydney team on a 2-year contract. You’ll support finance and investment groups by developing analytics and reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI, while closely partnering with stakeholders to deliver timely insights.

The role is about 60% development and 40% stakeholder engagement, with a hybrid arrangement and three days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills including stored procedures and views.
• Experience in a business-facing development, reporting or analytics role.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn about the business.
• Power BI experience is preferred.
• Databricks experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a hands‑on Software Developer to support finance and investment teams. This business‑facing role combines development, analytics, reporting, and production support, with the opportunity to learn more about the investment lifecycle.
