Gravity IT Resources is seeking a hands-on Software Developer to join our Sydney team on a 2-year contract. You’ll support finance and investment groups by developing analytics and reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI, while closely partnering with stakeholders to deliver timely insights.

The role is about 60% development and 40% stakeholder engagement, with a hybrid arrangement and three days in the office per week.

Competenze

Strong SQL skills including stored procedures and views.
Experience in a business-facing development, reporting or analytics role.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn about the business.
Power BI experience is preferred.
Databricks experience is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

Develop and support analytics and reporting solutions using SQL and Power BI.
Work with data across SQL Server and Databricks environments.
Partner with front-office and business stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate insights.
Troubleshoot production issues and support day-to-day reporting needs.
Enhance data extracts, automate processes, and improve internal reporting platforms.
Build an understanding of the business and contribute to day-to-day decision-making.
