Job summary

AustCorp Executive in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter for a service-focused role. You will inspect, test, maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems across a range of client sites, working independently with a company vehicle and autonomy over your site runs.

The role requires knowledge of AS 1851/AS 2118, QBCC licensing or eligibility, a White Card, and a valid driver’s licence. You will complete service reports, liaise with clients and adhere to WHS and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as sprinkler fitter, ideally with service/maintenance background.
• Working knowledge of AS 1851 and AS 2118.
• Current QBCC licence, or ability to work under the appropriate licence.
• Current white card.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Comfortable with service paperwork and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of wet sprinkler systems in line with AS 1851 and AS 2118.
• Test and service fire pumps, valves, alarm gear, tanks, flow switches and associated equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete defect repairs and minor modifications.
• Complete accurate service reports and defect documentation on time.
• Quote or flag defects and additional works to the service coordinator.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, building managers and site contacts.
• Isolate and reinstate systems safely, following site permit and notification procedures.
• Work safely and follow all WHS requirements, including site inductions and SWMS.
• Keep your vehicle, tools and equipment in good order.

Sprinkler Fitter (Service) | Brisbane

A well-established Brisbane fire services contractor is looking for an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join its service team. This is a service-only role covering the inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems across a range of client sites. You'll work independently with a company vehicle, own your run of sites and be the face of the business to customers.

About you

Essential

Desirable

• Experience servicing hospitals, high-rises or large commercial sites
• Willingness to be part of an on-call roster
