Job summary

Sydney FC is seeking a hands-on Digital Content Creator to produce and publish content across our digital channels. You will film, edit, write and publish across platforms, working with the Content & Marketing team to execute campaigns and engage supporters.

This contract role covers the 2026/27 season, with opportunities to cover training, matches and club events. You will take ownership of major initiatives, mentor from the Digital Content Manager, and help deliver fresh, club-wide content

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in digital content creation or related field
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and emerging social media trends
• Experience filming, editing and publishing short-form video content
• Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent written communication across multiple platforms
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays during football season
• Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle access

Responsibilities

• Capture and create engaging vertical video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and others
• Film and edit content using mobile devices and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Produce social graphics using Adobe Photoshop from club templates
• Brainstorm creative campaigns and social-first ideas
• Publish and schedule content across Sydney FC digital platforms
• Write website articles and digital copy
• Engage with supporters across social media
• Assist with live matchday coverage and fan engagement
• Cover home matches and some away fixtures
• Attend training, media opportunities and club events to create content
