Job summary

Sydney Church of England Grammar School – North Sydney NSW is seeking experienced cricket players and coaches to join its high-performing cricket department on a seasonal, casual basis. Coaches attend training sessions, camps, and professional development activities organized by the Head of Cricket, supporting Senior School students toward GPS competition.

Applicants should have a NSW Working with Children clearance (or willingness to obtain one), coaching or playing experience at a high level,

Qualifications

• NSW Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
• High-level cricket coaching or playing experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships across the school community
• Flexibility and adaptability in a busy, dynamic environment
• A genuine passion for cricket and for helping students grow as athletes and young adults

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior School students on a seasonal, casual basis, contributing toward the GPS competition participation
• Attend all training sessions (weekdays, weekends, and holidays when required), camps, and Professional Development activities organized by the Head of Cricket
• Collaborate with staff to plan and develop the cricket program and support student growth

The role

You'll work with Senior School students on a seasonal, casual basis, from building toward the school's participation in the GPS competition.

Coaches are expected to attend all training sessions (weekdays, weekends, and holidays where required), camps, and Professional Development activities organised by the Head of Cricket.
