Job summary

The Office of Sport is seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Regulatory Officer to support the regulation of combat sports and motor vehicle sports across NSW. You will provide regulatory advice, administer licensing and registration processes, conduct research and analysis, and contribute to policy development that supports effective industry regulation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience undertaking regulatory activities and applying legislation, policies or regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to or delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely regulatory advice and information to support compliance with legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Administer licensing, registration, permit and other statutory processes in accordance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct research, analysis and reporting activities that support policy development, regulatory initiatives and informed decision-making.
