Job summary

Nambour Christian College invites a capable Sport Coordinator for Middle and Senior School to help organise, coordinate and grow school sport across the two sections. You will work under the Director of Sport, liaising with Heads of Middle and Senior School to deliver programs, carnivals and afterschool activities.

The role requires current Queensland teacher registration, a First Aid certificate, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to the College’s Christian ethos

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Teacher Registration and First Aid Certificate are required.
• Formal qualifications in sport are desirable but not essential.
• Clear communication with students, parents, staff and external stakeholders is important.

Nambour Christian College (NCC) is an outstanding co-educational, inter-denominational Prep to Year 12 Christian School located in the heartland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. About the Role

We are seeking a capable, organised and relational Middle and Senior School Sport Coordinator to support the Director of Sport in the organisation, coordination and ongoing development of sport across our Middle and Senior Schools, with a start date of 2027.

This role contributes to the successful delivery of Middle and Senior School Sport programs, carnivals, competitions and afterschool sport opportunities, while strengthening student participation, supporting staff and coaches, maintaining effective communication and promoting a positive sporting culture.

Reporting to the Director of Sport, and working closely with the Heads of Middle and Senior School, this position will suit a registered teacher who brings strong organisational skills, sound professional judgement and a genuine commitment to helping students participate, grow and flourish through sport.

About You

You are a confident and collaborative educator with a passion for sport, student wellbeing and positive participation. You are able to communicate clearly with students, parents, staff and external stakeholders, manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and support the smooth delivery of school sport programs and events.

You will hold current Queensland Teacher Registration and a current First Aid Certificate. Formal qualifications in Sport are desirable, but not essential. Having a personal alignment and commitment to the Mission and Vision of Nambour Christian College, you will actively support the Christian ethos of the College and contribute positively to the spiritual life of our community.
