Job summary

Wests Group Macarthur is seeking a Sport & Community Engagement Coordinator (Full Time) to strengthen ties across the Macarthur region and deliver community investment programs with integrity and impact.

The role involves engaging with sporting organisations and community groups, coordinating events and activations, and ensuring compliance and governance for community grants and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in community engagement, partnerships or stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of ClubGRANTS or similar community funding programs.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, events and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and reporting skills.
  • Ability to interpret guidelines, policies and compliance requirements.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, professional and community-minded approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in Event coordination.
  • Driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with sporting organisations and community groups.
  • Coordinate community events, sponsorships and activations.
  • Manage and support delivery of the ClubsGRANTS program in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting and governance documentation.
  • Represent Wests Group Macarthur at events and stakeholder engagements.
  • Attend grassroots events and engage with the community on-site.
  • Create engaging communications around community initiatives.

We’re on the lookout for an energetic, relationship driven Sport & Community Engagement Coordinator (Full Time) to help us strengthen our ties across the Macarthur region while ensuring our community investment programs are delivered with integrity and impact.

About The Role

This isn’t your typical job role, it’s a role where you’ll be out in the community, building connections and creating experiences while balancing the regulatory and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in delivering on our community commitment by:

  • Building strong relationships with sporting organisations and community groups
  • Coordinating community events, sponsorships and activations
  • Managing and supporting delivery of the ClubsGRANTS program in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting and governance documentation
  • Representing Wests Group Macarthur at events and stakeholder engagements
  • Attending grassroots events and cheering from the sideline
  • Creating engaging communications around community initiatives
