Job summary

Wests Leagues Club in Sydney is seeking a Sport & Community Engagement Coordinator (Full Time) to strengthen ties with local sporting organisations and community groups across the Macarthur region, delivering programs with integrity and impact. You will coordinate community events, sponsorships and activations, help manage ClubsGRANTS and maintain governance records, while representing the Club at events.

Strong communication, stakeholder management and the ability to handle multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, partnerships or stakeholder management.
• Understanding of ClubGRANTS or similar community funding programs.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, events and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong organisational, administrative and reporting skills.
• Ability to interpret guidelines, policies and compliance requirements.
• High level written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, professional and community-minded approach.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in Event coordination.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Qualifications in Marketing/ Community Engagement or studying in relevant field would be advantageous

We’re on the lookout for an energetic, relationship driven Sport & Community Engagement Coordinator (Full Time) to help us strengthen our ties across the Macarthur region while ensuring our community investment programs are delivered with integrity and impact.

About the Role

This isn’t your typical job role, it’s a role where you’ll be out in the community, building connections and creating experiences while balancing the regulatory and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in delivering on our community commitment by:
